Intensive Course for New Krav-Maga Instructors

Date: April 22-29, 2012
Location:Cluj-Napoca, Romania

The seminar will be led by Grand Master Yaron LICHTENSTEIN (9DAN), founder of BUKAN School of Krav-Maga. The BUKAN School is the sole school that teaches unchanged the Krav-Maga techniques and principles Imi Lichtenfeld invented (the creator of Krav-Maga), thus giving maximum efficiency to his students. The seminar is organized by the Romanian branch of the BUKAN School.

It will be an international seminar: anyone can join, from Romania or from abroad.
The organizers might reject people that are not compatible with the status of a BUKAN Scool instructor. Teaching will be in English, with the possibility of simultaneous translation into Romanian and Hungarian.

The participants do not need to have previous experience in Krav-Maga or any other martial art! All the principles and techniques will be explained in detail, from scratch. Teaching will be tailored so that all students - regardless of their experience or physical condition - will successfully assimilate the neccessary knowledge and skills.

During the 8 hours of daily training will be taught all the techniques from yellow, orange and green belts. Emphasize will be set on the proper assimilation of techniques and principles of Krav-Maga, as well ans on how to teach them.

The training will take place in white kimonos, in bare feet.
Each participant will bring its own white kimono (karate or judo style) and the belts required.

All participants will receive a green belt and the instructor diploma. This shows that they master the appropriate techniques from yellow, orange and green belts and their teaching methodology. The graduates will not be obliged in any way to teach Krav-Maga after completing the seminar. The instructor diploma is issued for life: it does NOT need to be renewed in time or during the exams for superior belts!

The seminar fee covers only the cost of training, the snacks during the breaks and the diplomas awarded (for the belt and / or instructor grade). All other costs of the participants (transportation, accommodation, meals, laundry of kimonos etc.) will be payed by them. We will be able to recommend you accomodation and meal services near the training place.

The graduates can pursue further training in Krav-Maga and obtain higher belts by taking part to seminars that BUKAN School will organize in Romania or abroad. We intend to organize yearly in Romania a seminar led by Yaron Lichtenstein.

Since the best way to evolve in Krav-Maga is by teaching, graduates will receive the full support of the Grand Master Yaron Lichtenstein and László PETHŐ to open their own schools of Krav-Maga. The teaching activity of the new instructors will be recognized by the BUKAN School only if they will teach the techniques of Krav-Maga unchanged and will respect the principles and rules of the BUKAN School. The instructors will be completely financial independent: there is NO further financial obligation towards BUKAN Romania or International!
